The Petal Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for implementing and conducting activities for the growing population of Petal, as well as the maintenance of facilities within our parks' jurisdiction. Our mission is to provide the guidance and focus to fulfill the recreational needs of the citizens by identifying both physical and administrative goals. Our administrative goals are directed toward communication in increasing public awareness of existing facilities and programs offered by our department.
We have 8 full-time and 2 part-time employees available at all times to provide the citizens of Petal with the best recreational activities available.
